Subject: An early 'travel guide' book of good historical interest
This book is a personal account of North Africa from the point of view of a Victorian Englishman. Reads like a diary that has many authentic trivial details typical to honest eyewitness reports. This book gives a good subjective account also of the prejudices and perspectives towards Islam of a typical European of the time.

The pdf is a good scan.
